How did the cooperation between Tivoli and Normann Copenhagen come about?

Anyone who has visited the Tivoli in Copenhagen will know that the park is really something special. Some come there for fast-paced carousels, while others just want to walk around the park, watch performances or enjoy all the exciting design and architecture.

Normann Copenhagen’s own design studio began working to visit the park and explore its exciting archives. By immersing themselves in the creative work, with sketches, art and 3D drawings, they were able to start designing hundreds of prototypes for the eventual finished collection.

What distinguishes Tivoli’s design style?

In the Tivoli collection, Normann Copenhagen has transformed the many different styles, colours, patterns and symbols of the Tivoli theme part into recognisable products for everyday use. The idea is that you, as a visitor, should recognise the atmosphere of the park in every product. Here the design team has really succeeded in capturing movement, shapes, patterns and colours to connect with the clear DNA of the park and now also the collection!
