Pholc collaborates with talented designers to merge Scandinavian design with modern, expressive and sophisticated design for the future.
In Pholcs designs, the ordinary meets the extraordinary, which creates exciting and interesting lamps and lighting. In addition, they are concerned that their design should last and be of high quality. The result is innovative lamps that easily become both eye-catchers and conversation starters in the home.
Here you will find modern Scandinavian design lamps from Pholc.
The story behind the Pholc Mobile ceiling light started when designer Monika Mulder was commissioned to design a lamp that fits into a top floor in New York. She found the inspiration behind the collection Mobil in the typical New York balconies of black metal and in the round streetlights on the Brooklyn Bridge.
Pholc Blend is an elegant and sophisticated collection of pendant lamps and wall lamps with a clear geometric shape, where the design is inspired by Japan. Blend comes in a number of different colour combinations and fits perfectly placed in a row above the kitchen island. This Pholc light also fits beautifully in a dark corner in the living room or next to the bed.
At first glance, the pendant lamps in the Donna collection appear to be made of soft fabrics, but if you look closer you will discover that the shades of the Donna pendants are actually made of thin, light aluminium. These innovative lamps are designed by Nina Jobs and Stina Sandvall.
Monika Mulder is from the Netherlands and is the designer behind the popular lamp collection Mobil. She is interested in the sculptural side of design and for her, composition is crucial. With her designs, Mulder wants to create good solutions for real needs, and at the same time make everyday products beautiful and elegant, playful and functional.
Nina Jobs and Stina Sandvall are the designers behind the lamp collection Donna. Jobs has experience from a number of different design projects, all of which are characterised by simplicity, sustainability and timelessness.
Sandwall’s design is a balance between function and aesthetics, and she always works closely with both her manufacturers and customers. Her goal is to create products where materials, details, function and expression are designer so that the product will last as long as possible.
The Swedish Sabina Grubbeson is a designer among the popular ceiling lamp Blend and has throughout her career designed a number of products and lamps for both Pholc and other brands.
