Snorkmaiden Moomin spoon 2021

The Snorkmaiden Moomin spoon 2021 by Hackman is a long coffee spoon in stainless steel that is part of this summer's seasonal collection Together. At the end of the spoon we see Snorkmaiden lying on the beach reading a good book. The motif is taken from Tove Jansson's black and white series Moomin's on the Riviera and has received an injection of color by the illustrator Tove Slotte.The color scale and the summer motif embody the same wonderful feeling as the seasonal series Evening Swin from 2019.

In Moomin's on the Riviera, we get to follow the Moomin family as they live a bohemian beach life. Snorkmaiden has won some money at the casino, but unfortunately all the money has run out. The Moomin family intended to live a luxurious life in a hotel, but instead they are living under a boat on the beach. The boat lets the rain in and it's so cold at night that the Moomin family must wear woolen trousers.
