Wall mirrors for all rooms of the home

Wall mirrors are an essential part of every home, and a great home accessory. Here you will find lots of different wall mirrors, in various sizes, shapes and styles. Whether you are looking for a wall mirror for your bedroom, living room, bathroom or even kitchen, you can be sure that we have lots of great options that you can choose from!

Make your home feel bigger with a wall mirror

If you have rooms in your home that feel cramped because of how they are furnished, or simply because they are small in size, introducing a mirror into the equation can greatly increase the sense of space in those rooms. Accessorising a room with a large wall mirror can greatly impact the ambience of the room, and make it feel a lot bigger. The same sense of added space can also be achieved with a cluster or group of smaller mirrors that together form a larger wall mirror.

Brighten up your home with a wall mirror

Light plays an extremely important role in interior designs, not only in terms of lamps and and other artificial light sources, but also in terms of natural light.

A wall mirror can greatly contribute to the atmosphere of a home not only with a sense of an increase in space, but also by bringing more light to the room it is placed. How much light is let into a room can greatly impact our perception of the room, and you do not need to build more windows into your home. You simply need to think strategically about how you place mirrors in the room.

A cluster of small mirrors can also achieve the same effect on a space that a large mirror has, but with a bit of a creative twist that can further elevate your interior.

Wall mirrors for the bathroom

Every bathroom needs at least one wall mirror. The bathroom is usually where wall mirrors used the most for their primary function. They help us when we get ready for our everyday lives. But they can also make the bathroom feel bigger and brighter, making them an integral interior item contributing to the room's ambiance.

When shopping for a mirror for the bathroom, make sure that it is moisture resistant.

How high should a mirror hang?

Deciding how high to hang a mirror can feel tricky. A simple rule of thumb is to hang the mirror so that it is centered around the average eye height of the household. However, this does not apply to taller mirrors.

The takeaway here is that you should not overthink it. Just do what suits your family. How high to hang a mirror is highly individual and usually based on the average height of the people of the household.

How to hang a mirror on the wall:

Hanging a mirror is a relatively easy process, but make sure that you pay close attention to the manufacturer's care instructions before doing anything. Here you have a guide on how to do it yourself, but if you are having trouble, do not hesitate to take help from a trained professional.

  1. Start by identifying the type of wall you have where you want the mirror mounted.
  2. Determine what plugs, screws or anchors you need based on the wall type and the weight of the mirror.
  3. Determine where you want your mirror to be mounted. Use a pencil or tape to mark the wall where the screws should be.
  4. If your wall is made of wood, screw directly into the wall, otherwise pre-drill for your plugg or anchor and then attach them to the wall followed by the screws.
  5. Hang your wall mirror.
  6. Finally, clean your mirror to remove hand- and fingerprints left from the mounting process.

Caution: Please note that mirrors come with different mounting systems. Thus, these general instructions might not be applicable with your particular mirror.

How to clean a wall mirror:

  1. Mix water with a drop of soap and put it in a spray bottle.
  2. Spray the soap-water mixture on the mirror. Make sure to cover most of its surface.
  3. Wipe the mirror dry with a microfiber cloth, or some other type of lint free cloth.
