The history of Fritz Hansen

In 1872 a woodworker from Nakskov called Fritz Hansen receives a licence to trade in Denmark. This was the starts of the history of the Fritz Hansen brand, but Fritz Hansen was not to start furniture production until the year 1885. Two years later he has a flourishing workshop in central Copenhagen, and this is where Fritz and his son lay the foundation for the high-quality production that is going to make the Fritz Hansen brand.
