The compact wall shelf Stringhylla Pocket in the color green adds both color and storage to your home. The big brother of the pocket shelf, the classic Stringhylla, was designed by Nils "Nisse" Strinning in 1949 and went into production after winning first prize in a bookshelf competition organized by Bonniers library. The shelf has been designed with its characteristic gables inspired by the dish rack "Elfa" that Nisse Strinning designed a few years earlier - today the String shelving system is iconic in Scandinavian design. This smaller Pocket version of the shelf was launched in 2005 and is now available in a variety of colors and materials. Like the rest of the range of shelves from String, you can combine several shelf sections into a larger shelving system if desired.
