The Wire portable table lamp by Verpan is made of metal and acrylic – a cordless interpretation of Verner Panton’s Wire lamp from 1972. The open wire frame and dome-shaped shade give the lamp a light, sculptural look. Beneath the dome, the light spreads softly, creating a cosy atmosphere. The built-in dimmer lets you adjust the brightness in three steps, and the battery lasts up to nine hours at full brightness. The lamp charges using the included USB-C cable and can easily be moved between the coffee table, windowsill, sideboard and bedside table – wherever you want a little extra cosiness.
