Danish design from Morsø

The Danish brand Morsø presents high-quality Scandinavian design that fits well into the modern home. In addition to their popular cast iron kitchenware, their assortment also includes stylish home accessories such as trays, candlesticks and vases.

Morsø kitchen design in cast iron

Morsø has a long history of producing quality cookware in cast iron, from cooking pots and saucepans to frying pans and griddles. Here you can browse through their assortment of designer kitchen products that are stylish, functional and long-lasting.

How to care for Morsø cast iron cookware

  • Grease your Morsø cookware regularly in oil or vegetable fat.
  • Before using your cookware, make sure that it is completely dry.
  • You should not use dishwashing soap on your cast iron.
  • To clean your Morsø pans and pots, you only need to use hot water and a soft brush to rinse. Cast iron should not be soaked in water.
  • Do not pull your cast iron cookware across your stove top, but rather lift it up to move it.

Morsø's design philosophy

The centre of Morsø design is a perfect combination of beauty and functionality and to create products that contribute to a feeling of warmth and tranquillity in a home. They achieve this not only through their quality cookware but also through their thoughtfully designed home accessories which add cosiness and cheerfulness to the interior.

The history of Morsø

Morsø began in 1853 when Niels Andreas Christensen started Morsø Foundry in Denmark. Originally, the company only produced pots and a range of other cast iron items. When the company finally switched to producing mainly cast-iron tiled stoves, they became well-known among the Danish popular and in 1915 Morsø received the title of Purveyor to the Royal Court.

Morsø launched a completely new collection of kitchen equipment in 2015, some of which have already become modern design classics.
