The Melt pendant lamp LED is an extraordinary ceiling lamp from Tom Dixon that was conceived in collaboration with the radical design collective known as FRONT. When the light is off, the lamp has a sleek, mirror-like finish: however, once the light is switched on, a stunning molten glass interior is revealed that resembles a luminescent meteorite streaking across the sky from galaxies unknown. Light is magically reflected within the pendant lamp because of its transparent metal finish, a lustrous surface forged via vacuum metallization where metal is vaporized to form an ultra-thin metal film on the lampshade's surface. Pairs beautifully with other pendant lamps in the same series or combine with the Surface model in various colours to give your home a unique personal touch. Please note that a light source is not included.
