Oaki chair

Nordic design meets Japanese style — the Oaki chair from the Norwegian brand Northern is a highly expressive piece of furniture. Designed by Stine Aas, the chair draws upon the simplicity and artistry that characterize traditional Japanese woodcraft. Stine deliberately chose to hide all the joints and seams of the chair, which gives the piece an air of refinement and weightlessness, appearing as one single uniform piece. The four legs branch out from the backrest at an angle producing creative and playful angles. Each leg rests on the floor slightly askew from the chair rather directly above it, giving the piece a sense of life and movement — almost as if the chair is mid-stride. The Oaki is made of solid oak and is a beautiful centrepiece with a lot of character. Choose from several colours.
