Together Moomin plate 2021

The Together Moomin plate from Moomin Arabia is this year's seasonal plate for the summer of 2021. The plate's motif is based on Tove Jansson's black and white series Moomin's on the Riviera and has been painted by the illustrator Tove Slotte. The Moomin plate conveys the same summery feeling as the seasonal series Evening Swin from 2019, both in terms of color scale and illustration.

On the Moomin plate Together we see the Moomin family living a bohemian beach life. Moominpappa is playing solitaire in a deck chair, Snorkmaiden is reading a good book and Moominmamma is frying pancakes. Snorkmaiden won some money at the casino, but the money has run out. So instead of living a luxury life in a hotel, the Moomin family are sleeping under a boat on the beach.The boat is letting the rain in and it is so cold at night that the Moomin family need to wear woolen trousers.
