Unikko plate Ø 20 cm from the Finnish brand Marimekko is decorated with designer Maija Isola's beautifully designed decorative and colourful Unikko print, which was first seen on the market in 1964. The stoneware plate was created by Sami Ruotsalainen and decorated by Maija and Kristina Isola. Marimekko 's founder Armi Ratia had announced a ban on floral patterns but Maija Isola managed to persuade her with her beautiful poppy flowers, and Unikko was born, becoming one of the brand's most popular prints.
