The Unikko mug 25 cl by Marimekko is a coffee mug designed by Sami Ruotsalainen with a pattern by Maija Isola. The Unikko pattern was created in 1964, despite Marimekko founder Armi Ratia having banned floral patterns. Maija Isola managed to convince her with her delightful poppies and Unikko went into production. Since then, the pattern has become something of a Marimekko signature. The mug is available in several colourways, all of which can be beautifully combined with one another and with other products from the Finnish company.
