This Unikko duvet cover 150x210 cm from the Finnish brand Marimekko has been beautifully crafted from a blend of cotton and linen — perfect for a wonderful night’s sleep and a well-rested morning! The Unikko pattern was originally designed by Maija & Kristina Isola in 1964 after Marimekko's founder, Armi Ratia, announced an all-out ban on floral patterns. Despite this, Maija Isola managed to persuade her otherwise with this stylized depiction of majestic poppy flowers — thus the Unikko pattern was born. Since that time, the iconic design has become something of a signature pattern for Marimekko, and a well-loved aesthetic by many all over the world.
