Puisto-osasto oven mitt
Protect your hands from hot pots and pans with Puisto-osasto oven mitt from Marimekko, designed by Aino-Maija Metsola. The words “Puisto-osasto” are Finnish and mean “greenery department”, clearly emphasising the park and tree planning with colorful trees in pink, mustard and blue, on this otherwise monochrome city plan. The oven mitt is made of cotton and polyester with heat-protective padding and has a black and white drawing print that illustrates a city´s architecture and planning with inspiration from old city maps. When it's not in use, hang it on a hook in the kitchen and let it be a decorative detail!
