AJ floor lamp from Louis Poulsen is an icon of Danish design, created by Arne Jacobsen in 1960 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen—the same project where the famous Swan and Egg armchairs were designed. Its distinctive silhouette and adjustable shade provide direct, focused light that diffuses softly thanks to the white-painted interior. With its architectural expression and precise light distribution, the lamp works equally well as a reading light by an armchair or as task lighting at a desk. AJ floor lamp from Louis Poulsen comes in several colors and can be paired with the wall and table lamps in the same series for a cohesive lighting scheme.
