Københavner flower pot Ø30 cm

Raw pink, Ø30 cm

The Københavner flower pot Ø30 cm from Bergs Potter is a frost-resistant, handmade clay pot crafted from premium Italian clay. The Københavner flower pot Ø30 cm is also known as the Castle Pot. It has a beautiful relief decoration and an unglazed finish that develops a patina with variations in colour over time. This natural ageing process gives each pot a unique character. This size of the Københavner flower pot Ø30 cm is well suited to larger plants, citrus trees or olive trees. The high-quality clay used for Bergs Potter pots allows the roots to breathe while retaining moisture in the soil, creating a favourable environment for your plants. The included saucer has a special silicone treatment on the inside that makes it watertight. This allows you to use the Københavner flower pot Ø30 cm both indoors and outdoors. During the 19th century, a similar pot was made at the royal Frederiksborg Castle in Denmark. Many years later, Steffen Berg found one of these pots at a disused plant nursery, inspiring the Københavner flower pot Ø30 cm. Today, Bergs Potter produces its own version in a small village in Tuscany, Italy.
