Ninny Moomin bowl
To commemorate the occasion of the 30 year anniversary since the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child came into force, Arabia has launched a new Moomin bowl decorated with Ninni, the invisible child. For every Ninny bowl that is sold, Arabia is donating 10 SEK to the Save the Children nonprofit charity. Ninny appeared in Tove Jansson's short story "The Invisible Child", in which the Moomin family comes across a poorly treated little girl who became invisible. Moomintroll, in his ever-empathetic manner, helps Ninny regain her confidence. The story contains a moving message about the power of caring and illustrates how important it is to see others and to be seen.
