Salam teapot 1 L from Degrenne is a timeless design classic that holds approx. 6 cups of tea. The teapot is made of porcelain and has a removable stainless steel lid. On the inside of the lid there is a replaceable felt lining that acts as insulation and keeps the tea warm for over an hour — twice as long as an ordinary teapot. The removable infuser allows the tea leaves to steep properly without becoming bitter, delivering the best possible flavor experience. The Salam teapot is a French icon, created in 1953 by the renowned goldsmith Guy Degrenne and inspired by the Bedouin tradition of drinking tea slowly. The teapot is dishwasher safe (the lid should be washed by hand) and comes with a custom-made filter.
