Copenhagen flower pot 21 cm, also called the Køpenhavner or Castle pot is, with its characteristic design and beautiful patina, a very decorative piece on the windowsill. All pots are handmade from premium Italian clay that allows roots to breathe while moisture remains in the soil – optimal conditions for your beloved plants! Thanks to a special silicone treatment, the plant saucer is completely waterproof, meaning that you can use the pot indoors. The handmade unglazed pot will eventually change in colour and finish. It's frost-resistant, and if you use it outdoors, it will only gain patina and therefore character. The inspiration for the design on the flowerpot comes from a pot that was made at the Royal Palace in Denmark in the year 1860. Today, Bergs Potter produces its own version in a small village near Lucca in Tuscany.
