Moonshine in Snow Moomin bowl 2021 from Finnish Moomin Arabia is the winter seasonal bowl of the year 2021. The blue design of this bowl is based on Tove Jansson's book Moominland Midwinter from 1957. This Moomin bowl shows Moomin together with Little My and his new friend Too-Ticky standing on the beach and looking at the Snow Horse that has wakened and is galloping off into the horizon. On this Moomin bowl, we see both the hard and wonderful side of winter and how the Moomin character experiences the first winter of its life. Moomin usually sleeps through winter, but in this story-like tableware set he wakens when the moonlight shines directly in his face and he cannot fall back asleep. Because he is now awake, Moomin is able to have new experiences and meet new characters, such as the Snow Horse and The Lady of the Cold. In the Moonshine in Snow tableware set, we see Moomin clad in his morning robe so he won't freeze before his winter pelt has grown. The Moonshine in Snow shows how Tove Jansson depicted weather and season in a subtle way with the help of only a few lines. In this tableware set, the illustrator Tove Slotte has compiled the author's pictures and adapted them to the porcelain. This lovely Moomin bowl is made of durable vitro porcelain and is a nice addition to the Moomin collection. The bowl is sized for yoghurt in the morning or ice cream for dessert and can be used with the Moomin mug in the same design.
