The Pioakana pillowcase 50x60 cm from Finnish Marimekko is a pillowcase made of soft cotton percale in a checkered pattern designed by Fujiwo Ishimoto. Piekana is the Finnish word for the bird of prey rough-legged buzzard and the pattern was originally part of a collection named Iso karhu (Ursa Major) inspired by a book about the lives of the Finno-Ugric peoples. The Piekana pattern is also available on other interior details and the pillowcase can be advantageously matched with the duvet cover in the same pattern.
