The inspiration comes from the construction of a drum kit—its legs, striking surface, and the interplay of materials—here interpreted as a piece of furniture with the same precision and presence. The armchair exemplifies Theselius’s ability to unite artistic expression with technical expertise, with every detail considered for both comfort and character. Star armchair is produced in a limited edition of 360 pieces as well as in ongoing production, fully upholstered in fabric or leather, and is today an icon of contemporary Swedish furniture design.
