The Barknest round basket from Italian company Alessi was designed by the designer duo Michel Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui. Made of steel, the basket's design was inspired by the trees surrounding the duo's home, known as Casa Boucquillon. These trees have a beautiful bark whose structure and pattern inspired the idea behind the decorative basket. The Barknest is a beautiful ornament that can be filled with trinkets or serve as a great decoration all on its own!
