About Sandberg Wallpaper
Sandberg Wallpaper is a Swedish design brand with its roots firmly planted in traditional wallpaper craftsmanship. With a real passion for patterns, Sandberg Wallpaper creates qualitative wallpaper inspired by everything that is Sweden. The love for craftsmanship is apparent in every step of the production chain, which is why Sandberg Tyg & Tapet refers to it as “Swedish wallpaper art”.The family business was founded in 1976 and to this day produces all wallpaper locally in their factory in Ulricehamn, Sweden. Every roll of wallpaper that leaves the factory has been worked on by numerous skilled craftsmen that cherish the traditional craft of producing wallpaper.
The designs stem right from Sandberg’s own design studio, which is situated next to the factory itself. The designs are often inspired by the Swedish landscape, history and culture, but Sandberg also introduces modern, bold patterns. All designs are originally sketched, painted and drawn out by hand. A Sandberg Tyg & Tapet wallpaper is simply more than your run of the mill roll of wallpaper. It’s a piece of craftsmanship, Swedish heritage and art.
