The Vihkiruusu cushion cover 45x45 cm creates a gorgeous expression in the bedroom with its floral pattern full of blooming plants and vibrant leaves in myriad pleasing colours. The Vihkiruusu pattern was originally designed by Maija Isola in 1964, but by this time Marimekko's founder, Armi Ratia, had already announced an all-out ban on floral patterns. Despite this, Maija Isola managed to persuade her with the stylish print: seeing her work, Armi Ratia sought to include eight of Maija’s designs as part of Marimekko's various collections, including the Vihkiruusu pattern.
