Siirtolapuutarha tea pot
The Siirtolapuutarha teapot by Marimekko was designed by Sami Ruotsalainen with a pattern design by Maija Louekari. The teapot itself is made of stoneware with a decorative handle made of wood from a rubber tree. Siirtolapuutarha is the Finnish word for garden colony allotment, which is exactly what inspired the wonderful pattern of black and white summer plants with orange accents.
