Ruudut fabric from Marimekko is a fabric sold by the meter in heavy cotton fabric where a portion of the material is recycled. The pattern has been created by four designers commissioned by Marimekko to create square or rectangular motifs with inspiration from nature. The abstract motifs were then put together to create a large pattern. Use the fabric to sew tablecloths and aprons for the kitchen or pillowcases and curtains for the sitting room. The colour of the fabric is recycled, as it is a mix of dye that has been left over from other production at Marimekko's factory in Helsinki.
