Rosarium batiste fabric

Sew pillow cases, curtains or stylish clothes with the Rosarium batiste fabric from the Finnish brand Marimekko. This gorgeous fabric has been adorned with the striking and colourful Rosarium pattern, originally designed by Aino-Maija Metsola. The pattern evokes images of a resplendent rose garden in those dwindling days after bloom — full in their splendour and yet the first falling leaves are already caught in the nascent autumn wind. The pattern itself depicts several rose types but focusses primarily on the Rosa Rugosa, the particular variety found outside Aino-Maija Metsola's home.
