Moomin valley Aquarelle mug 2017 6-pack
The Moomin watercolour is a specially designed Moomin Mug developed in cooperation with Tampere Art Museum in Finland and designed to celebrate both Tove Jansson and Finland's 100th anniversary to be held in 2017. During her lifetime, Tove Jansson donated much of her art collection to the Tampere Art Museum, who now exhibit a Moomin museum in dedication to the artist. The image reflects the story, "The Sorcerer's hat" a book published in 1948. This watercolour contains 27 different shades of colour which makes it quite unusual. By adapting the beloved Moomin mugs, art has been transformed into everyday life, a tribute to Tove Jansson and her versatile career.
